I hope this email finds you well and thoroughly enjoying your fall garden.
This email is to notify you that we will be migrating The Dallas Garden School to a new platform for 2025, and our programming format will change.
In order to facilitate the migration, we need to cancel subscription payment plans. This is the best time for us to do this since the 2024 schedule of classes has come to an end. (There may be some special programming in the coming months, but TBD.)
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
You will get an email soon that your membership has been canceled. You have access to your class library through the end of your current term (one month from when your last subscription payment processed).
Please disregard the messaging in the email (auto-generated by the system) that states you can re-subscribe.
If you would like forever access to the library of classes held in 2024, plus three months of instructor help, you can purchase the 2024 Class Library at a one-time, members-only 60% discount of $119. Code is MEMBERLIBRARY, or click this link. Discount expires Nov 10.
There is a lot to look forward to (like the 2025 planner!) and you will be getting more information about 2025 programming soon.
With all my support and encouragement,
Callie
In order to facilitate this transition, we have to cancel subscription plans so that your card won't get charged again. New programming for 2025 will not be added to the current platform, and we cannot transition memberships to the new platform.
The offerings on the new platform will not include the classes that were held this year. We don't know if it's even technically possible to transfer them, and we don't have any plans to transfer them as of now.
We also do not have plans to offer a membership in the same way it exists now. This could change, but we can't make any announcements about 2025 programming because there is still too much time between now and then and changes will very likely be made in the meantime. We are also working around the clock right now on production of the 2025 planner.
The current platform will be kept alive only so that people can access the old classes that were purchased individually.
I created the Class Library option for students on subscription payment plans who want to retain access to the class recordings from this year. (Memberships grant access to past classes and materials only while the membership is active). Without this option to purchase, all members lose access to these classes when the membership plans are canceled.
There is no way for me to give members access to these classes and materials unless they are purchased separately, so I made it possible to purchase access to all the 2024 classes at a substantial discount (only for members) which minimally covers the work required maintain the current site, answer questions, etc.
Unfortunately, there are automated emails sent by the current platform that I cannot edit. The cancellation emails offer the opportunity to resubscribe, but this is incorrect. These emails are generated when the membership cancellation is processed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition. I am doing everything in my power to meet requests.
